The truest expression of faith is not found in “miracles” or “signs” or “wonders” but this: when my body withers away and my mind crumbles and deceives me and my heart fails me and I find myself sinking in the valley of the shadow of death and still believe in the promises of God’s Word and the character and nature of God to save me as explained therein…this is true faith and spiritual maturity
